Administrative Offices
Coordinator’s Office
The office of the Coordinator of the Cultural Resource Management Program is at 200 Knapp Hall. Knapp Hall is a large tan colored building located on the Downtown Campus near the intersection of University Ave., Beechurst Ave., Fayette St., and Bumbo Ave. The street address is 28 Beechurst Ave.
Other Administrative Offices
Certain administrative offices of the Cultural Resource Management Program are located at Bicentennial House. This historic red brick house (once the Vance Farmhouse) was built in 1854. Once the house and the surrounding farm land were sold to the University in the 1890s to build the experimental farm, the house became the oldest property on the WVU campus. The house was renamed “Bicentennial House” when it housed Monongalia County’s exhibit on the National Bicentennial in 1976. The house was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on November 21, 1991.
Some CRM and affiliated program classes are also taught at Bicentennial House. The building code on the course schedule for Bicentennial House is “BIC-E.”
